Commuters: allowance for travel in 2023

From Monday 5 February until Friday 5 April 2024 at 12 noon, it is possible to submit applications for commuter allowances for travel expenses incurred in 2023 to the Provincial Government’s Mobility Department.

The allowances are reserved for employees who, for at least 120 days a year, had to commute more than 18 kilometres a day to their place of work, without using public transport with a timetable of at least half an hour.

What is new?

When entering your application, the system will automatically check your travel time by public transport via the südtirolmobil system and indicate whether you are entitled to the allowance or not.

The amount will then be determined according to the duration and total travel time.
